  23. Here's a brief summary of the changes since the previous
  24. version of the MiscKit.  I haven't had the time to set up
  25. patch and all to handle context diffs, so you'll have to
  26. pick up the whole release again.  However, there is so
  27. much new stuff and enough changes that I don't think it
  28. will be a major problem this time around.

  31. V1.1.0    1/31/94    MiscKit maintenance release:

  33. * Added the following objects:  MiscReadOnlyColorWell,
  34. MiscColor, MiscHalftoneColor, MiscScreenColor,
  35. MiscSerialPort, MiscLinkedList, MiscLinkedListNode, and the
  36. new MiscString PatternMatching category.  This is why we're
  37. at version 1.1.0 and not simply version 1.0.2.

  39. * New regexpr.c solves linking problems; MiscTBMK.c can now
  40. handle stream as well as memory searches.

  42. * Added the MiscColorWells palette and TinyTerm example app.

  44. * The MiscArrowButton palette is a hair friendlier in IB.

  46. * Tweaked the Makefiles some more.

  48. * Reorganized the Documentation directory so that it is
  49. more compatible with NeXT's HeaderViewer.app.

  51. That's all the big things.  Installation should be a bit
  52. smoother for everyone, and I've added known problems and
  53. workarounds to the README file for 3.0 folks.  Unfortunately
  54. none of my systems are on 3.0 anymore, so I cannot test or
  55. verify anything having to do with 3.0.  Hopefully none of
  56. the problems there are insuperable.

  58. Well, enjoy the release, and if you have any updates or
  59. new objects to add to the kit, send 'em right along!

  61. Let me know if you're having any problems...and if you
  62. run across anything strange, but you fix it, still let
  63. me know what happened and how you fixed it so that I can
  64. help anyone else who has the same problem (and so I can
  65. remove the problem from future releases where possible).
